Am I eligible?

Any resident of the state of Maryland is eligible if you meet the criteria. This scholarship applies to college bound students. The award is up to $10,000. Please apply wisely.  Round 1

1. How would this help you with your budget in getting  though college to where you want to be in your career, life, and family?

         A. Write a  paragraph

          B, Submit a budget sheet with projected expenses

2. Write two paragraphs.

·       A.  The first paragraph talks about yourself.

·        B. The second paragraph tells how this will help you succeed in reaching your goal

3. Karen and Delores were go-to people when you needed to get some straightforward advice whether it was physical, mental, or spiritual.

       A. Write a paragraph about some of the things that you would do to spread love in the community.

       B. Write a paragraph on how those ideas would make a difference.

4. Karen and Delores represented strength between medical and physical and mental and soulful. (1 page essay)

      A. Define Strength

      B. How will you manifest their strength?

5. Throughout all your life experiences (2 paragraphs)

·       A. Write a paragraph on how you have been able to maintain to accomplish your academic goals.

6. Write a paragraph about what you will continue to do to ensure you grow your community (2 paragraphs)

            A. Define what it means.

            B. List and maintain a project that you can pass on to the generations after you so that growth continues. The project should have an impact on the greater community. It should have an implementation plan. It should have an impact beyond a small circle. The intent is for this to grow beyond possibilities. A progress report is required during the scholarship year.

            C. Create a PowerPoint presentation for the project on how it was developed and will be maintained when you are not around.

7. Stay positive and keep pushing. Life always presents you with struggles. Faith is important. (2 paragraphs)

             A. Write a paragraph on how you stay will stay positive and keep pushing no matter what you are presented through your faith community.

         B. Write a paragraph  about how you will you surround yourself with like energy and faith.
